Welcome to the 2008 Summer Olympics

The opening ceremonies of the 2008 summer Olympics occurred a few hours ago and will be televised tonight on NBC.  They were reportedly the most expensive opening ceremonies ever, in excess of $100 million (according to NPR).

Here's a list of the networks that will be broadcasting various events:
NBC:  Gymnastics, swimming, diving, volleyball, cycling, and track and field
USA:  Tennis, basketball, table tennis, baseball
CNBC:  Boxing, softball, and tennis
MSNBC:  Soccer, wrestling, and coverage
Oxygen:  Equestrian, synchronized swimming, and gymnastics
